2024 “MANDATORY” OUTSIDE WATER USE RESTRICTION

Per the Water Management Act Withdrawal Permit, the Town of Pembroke Water Department is required to issue a “Mandatory” Outside Water Use Restriction effective May 1, 2024, thru September 30, 2024.

During the days and times listed below only Handheld hoses will be allowed.

Odd numbered homes may water Monday & Wednesday from 5am to 8am and 5pm to 8pm

Even numbered homes may water Tuesday & Thursday from 5am to 8am and 5am to 8pm

THE INCREASED DEMAND WE HAVE EXPERIENCED CAN THREATEN PUBLIC SAFETY, AND THE QUALITY OF PUBLIC DRINKING WATER. IN EXTREME CASES HIGH WATER USE CAN THREATEN THE ABILITY OF MUNICIPALITIES TO STORE WATER FOR WATER PRESSURE AND FIRE PROTECTION PURPOSES.
