Due to the increased threat level posed to the public heath by mosquitoes carrying the Eastern Equine Encephalitis Virus, effective August 31, 2010, the Pembroke Recreation Department has implemented a daily 7:00 pm curfew for use of all fields under the control of the Recreation Department. This curfew is in effect until October 11, 2010 when the Recreation Department will evaluate the risk level again.
The following fields, playgrounds and courts are affected by this order:
Mattakeesett Street field and playground, Birch Street field and playground, Community Center field and playground, Magoun Field, Center St. basketball courts, and the Brick Kiln Lane playground.
Youth Sports Organizations have been contacted.

Fall Programs
 Wednesday Morning Playgroup will begin October 6th. Come join this low key playgroup. This is a great way to get together with friends and let the children have a date too. brochure (pdf)
Dance Off Depression Workshop will begin September 21st and run every Tuesday for six weeks 5:30-6:30pm. brochure (pdf) $65.
Mommy & Me Arts and Crafts is a great way to encourage creativity in children. Mondays or Thursdays 10:30-11:30 am beginning October 4th and 7th. brochure (pdf)
Come join the fun at a Halloween Party! Pumpkin & costume judging, arts and crafts, and fun games! Only $5 per participant. Flier (pdf) Sunday, October 31st.Preregister for a space! Ages 3 -5 , 10:30 - 12:30. Ages 6-8, 12:30 - 3:30.
